mentor Dr. Ashok Patel Served as My Gold Award Mentor. He is a Pulmonologist with an interest in Global Health, Service Leadership and Disaster Preparedness. Dr. Patel is a wonderful and supportive   mentor , and really helped guide me through the entire process

"The beginning of our journey"- Dr. Patel . This was the first day of my project, because this is the day that I met with Dr. Patel, pitched him my plan and worked through the process of putting it into action. The meeting ended with him signing on to be my mentor, a moment cemented with a selfie.

This was final day of our project. We met met, and talked about how it felt to implement the project, the diffrent lessons i had learned, and the projects future. Dr. patel had alot of wisdom to give about not just disaster prepardnes, but leadership and life. Our last project meeting ended much like our first one, with him signing my final project paperwork, and of course a commemorative picture.
